Bumble Bee on lavender

Dimension of Image 10cm x 27cm

Dimension of Frame 19cm x 38cm

Original watercolour paintings painted on 600gsm Saunders waterford watercolour paper using Daniel Smith artist quality watercolour paints. Includes a white wooden frame and off-white acid free mount.

Inspired by the bumblebees that visit the lavender in our garden. The painting started with a loose sketch, the bees were painted first and the flowers and background added in a considered manner, ensuring an overall looseness with a hint of definition.
