Bumblebee amongst forsythiaDimension of artwork approximately 23cm x 23cmI sat down to paint a quick study of a little twig of forsythia that I picked from the garden. Before I knew it a bumble bee insisted on appearing amongst the flowers. The painting grew and grew till a square format looked rather pleasing :-)There are some colour studies on the reverse of this painting but it does not affect the viewing of this artwork.
