Dimension of artwork is 37cmx27cm
The first stage of the painting involved applying a watercolour wash. Once dried the dandelion clocks were painted without a preliminary sketch. The next stage involved adding considered marks to balance the overall composition. Small amount of iridescent watercolour paint has been used too which gives a subtle sheen in places. I used my own photo references for this artwork.
Materials used: Artist quality watercolour paints & 300gsm St Cuthberts mill watercolour paper.
The painting comes in a silver effect frame and is mounted using an acid free off-white mount.
