A painting that developed from sketches I did at the nature reserve. The location of the delta hide overlooking the golden reed bed is so peaceful. One particular day the dark grey clouds provided a fantastic contrast and that is what I had tried to draw inspiration from in this painting.
 
Materials used - Saunders waterford paper 425gsm, artist quality Daniel Smith watercolour paints
 
The artwork is double mounted, to give a luxurious feel, in an acid free off-white mount and framed in a glass fronted white wood effect frame.
